CENTURIES OF SABOTAGE. IT STOPS NOW.
America lost the plot. It’s time to restore the treaty — and build a Department of Peace.
Look at this image. This is what happens when we let war ministries and defense contractors write our future.
For centuries, the economic incentives have been backward: war is profitable, peace is not. Schools get bombed. Families erased. Treaties broken. And every time humanity builds something world-changing — like fusion energy — the same playbook runs: discredit, delay, destroy.
The International Fusion Research facility behind the protesters in the image represents a threat to the war economy. Clean, abundant power for all of humanity? That breaks the cycle. So they sabotage it. With misinformation. With interference. With violence.
This war we're in is a warning. The era of impunity for the powerful must end.
America elevated the Pentagon, intelligence agencies, and defense contractors. It lost the plot: peace is a security asset, not a weakness. The current structures — Security Council vetoes, post-hoc ICC warrants — cannot stop mass civilian death in real time.
The solution isn’t utopian. It’s institutional.
We need a Department of Peace and Social Protection — a counterweight to Defense Departments that have captured foreign policy. Five divisions:
1. Preventive Diplomacy — Standby ceasefire negotiators
2. Civilian Protection — Real-time watchlist of schools/hospitals
3. Social Stabilization — Food, health, education continuity
4. Rehabilitation — Trauma care for survivors
5. Conflict Economy Oversight — Public registry of defense contractors profiting from civilian harm
The future of security depends not on the ability to wage war, but on the ability to prevent the conditions that make war appear inevitable.
