The Opportunity
We are seeking a Founding Partner to co-build and lead BIZI Legal from inception.
This is a ground-floor leadership role for a legal professional who is ready to move beyond conventional practice and help architect a multi-sector legal platform with national and international relevance.
You will play a central role in shaping:
- Legal strategy across Afrient ventures
- Institutional and government engagement frameworks
- Regulatory navigation and compliance systems
- High-stakes legal matters including corporate, civil, and strategic litigation

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formation and structuring of BIZI Legal
- Provide senior legal counsel across Afrient ecosystem entities
- Develop governance, compliance, and risk frameworks
- Represent and advise on strategic engagements with institutions and regulators
- Co-design legal strategies for investment vehicles, SPVs, and partnerships
- Oversee litigation strategy and legal positioning in complex matters

Ideal Profile
- Qualified legal practitioner (Admitted Attorney / Advocate) in Zimbabwe, Mauritius or South Africa
- Strong grounding in corporate, commercial, or financial law
- Experience in regulatory, institutional, or high-level advisory environments
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operate beyond traditional legal silos
- High integrity, discretion, and long-term vision alignment
- Interest in nation-building, economic development, and impact-driven structures
